As a presenter on diverse neurological disorders throughout his career, Dr. Zamora exhibits educational posters of the results of his research into various neurological topics at the Center. In addition, given his prior experience as a researcher, which has included research work in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and Argentina, Dr. Zamora has acquired photos, diagrams, books, and mementos, many of them originals regarding the life and work of famous neuroscientists such as Alois Alzheimer; Nobel Prize-winner Santiago Ramon y Cajal; Pio del Rio Hortega; and Jean Martin Charcot, known as the father of Neurology. Many of these are exhibited at the Center and help provide patients which an enrichening, holistic, experience, while receiving treatment at the Center.
The Neurology Center of Excellence is a green facility. It is powered in part by various state of the art solar panels, which help the Center conserve energy from a renewable energy source. The Center offers its patients organic coffee and tea. Patients may await for their appointments at the Center’s outdoor area, which hosts a fish pond that attracts native flora and fauna. All of these features are designed to provide the Center’s patients with a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment, while receiving treatment.
